These recipes from Andhra Pradesh were kindly submitted to The Curry House by Supriya whose family are from Secunderabad in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. They are some of Supriya's mother's traditional recipes.

The recipes in this feature are published "as is". They are not my recipes and I haven't tested them all. I cannot offer help in making the recipes.


Andhra Pradesh

Stuffed Capsicum
You need to find small (bell) peppers to make this recipe and then fill them with the nuts and coconut mixture They are delicious eaten with chapatis.

Dhaniya Chicken
Chicken cooked in yoghurt and spices with lots and lots of fresh coriander leaves (cilantro).

Meat Ball Masala
Meat balls in a spicy sauce thickened with poppy seeds and nuts. You can substitute minced lamb for the minced goat's meat if you like.
